Since beginning his guiding career in 2007, Johnnier has explored Colombia’s diverse habitats and birdlife, starting in the rich ecosystems of the Western Andes. His passion for birds has taken him to every corner of the country. In 2014, he founded The Andean Birder, where he designs immersive itineraries and leads expertly guided trips that highlight Colombia’s extraordinary bird diversity.
