A birding trip with LEA SCHELLHOUS. October 2023
Lea Schellhous’s first trip to Colombia was a birding adventure in the southern region, which introduced her to the country’s incredible biodiversity. This time, she wanted to head north to explore the rich birdlife of the Santa Marta Mountains and the Caribbean coast. We also added a few extra days to visit the Mid-Magdalena Valley and the highlands of the Central Andes, ensuring a broader experience of Colombia’s diverse ecosystems.
